Hey guys, I know it’s been a while, but I promise we have not dropped off the face of the planet. Things have slowed down a bit, that’s all. We’re soooo sorry. Please be patient with us. We still love you.

In the meantime, here’s another little hint about the site: our canon list is populated by more than just the living.

The plot!

It’s New York, 2011, and we still don’t have flying cars, a cure for cancer, or even a functional Medicare system. What has the information age given us? War. Global warming. Economic uncertainty. Technology surrounds us, both the good and the bad, and most people have simply accepted this. There are those who dare to question this, though; people who dream about being free of modern drama.

What if you could escape? What if it was possible to leave the world of 24-hour news networks and cellphones behind without leaving society behind?

It’s New York, 1923, and flying cars aren’t even a twinkle in an inventor’s eye yet. Welcome to the roaring twenties, where jazz, liquor, and late night soirees reign supreme. No nuclear warheads, no melting icebergs to worry about. World War I has just ended and World War II isn’t even visible on the horizon yet. Many agree that the world could never be more perfect.

Wouldn’t it be the bee’s knees if you could stay in 1923, stuck in that perfect year, forever?

It is New York, but the year is not so certain. One man will tell you it’s 2011; another, 1923. It’s up to you to decide who you’ll believe.
